Authentic Mexican Peasant and Traditional Organic Cotton Clothing
"I
absolutely LOVE my new huichol blouse!!!
I am a collector of ethnic clothes and have 2
Mexican dresses from 1982. I never thought
I would find that quality again. Thanks
for working with such talented people!!"

This is AUTHENTIC organic Mexican clothing. All embroidered blouses are made by the indiginous women in their homes, and are collected by our folks, or we pick them up at their various stalls when they sell outdoors.
We are a fair trade company, and pay our folks around $20 per blouse IN MEXICO before we ship or traverse customs. This makes a huge difference in the lives of these incredibly talented women. Beware of the sweat shop knock-offs made by women and children who earn pennies for their labor, working horrific hours, that are shipped directly from China.
If you
want notification that new blouses are up and
ready, please join us on FACEBOOK. I don't post a lot there, so won't clutter your inbox, but I ALWAYS post when the new items go up.
I
am going to ask that all you nostalgic Good Old
Girls send me jpgs of you wearing your blouses.
I want to put up a gallery. No last names,
just your
beautiful
smiling faces to show others what the blouses
really look like on
REAL
women.

A
sizing hint for the 7049, 7057 and 7058, 7070
and 7071
Huichol
Blouses:
If
you have a generous bust, but otherwise a slender
frame -
example
- a 40" actual bust but a 6-8 size in clothing,
do
NOT buy a 20" yoke. Buy an 18"
yoke, as the gathers
will
accommodate your bust and the top will then fit
your shoulders.
Be sure to look at the bust opening. In
these
blouses
a bit smaller in the yoke is better on a thinner
frame.
Best
bet is to look for a blouse where your real bust
is in the middle
of
the blouse range (ie, if you have a 40" bust,
look for a blouse
that
has a bust range of 36"- 44" - in the
MIDDLE).
Also,
if you have real fears that the blouse you want
to order,
in
any style, may not be right, all you have to do
during checkout
is
put your actual (tape measure) bust and hips in
the comments
box,
and I will be sure the blouse you receive is not
too bigor
too small, or I will contact you with alternatives
if it is a
one-size.

Lower Shipping Option. Hi Folks. As you probably know by now both FedEx and UPS changed the way they calculate shipping in January of this year. They went from distance+weight under 84” to distance+weight+cube (volume, their old air freight model). This has had the net effect of raising shipping costs 20%-30%, worse in rural and low-population centers. It is obscene, and to counteract this I am going to offer USPO shipping for single items ($6.45 for an envelope). Depending on the size of the item(s) I can often get 2 in a legal-size envelope. When we get to 3 items FedEx and my discount usually beats the Post Office, but the "A" and "B" Zone USPO boxes are sometimes cheaper, so I will always check for CHEAPEST. Thanks.
