I found Al at a craft faire this Spring (2011), and fell in love with
his wonderful bowls, which are the best little soup bowls as well as mixing
bowls I have found. They are well-balanced, and it is a pleasure to mix
and pour from the same bowl with a generous comfortable handle.
It was only when I got to his studio that I found the platters and that
wonderful dip bowl. The pie plates are so pretty they can go from the
oven straight to the table.
Al's pottery is delightfully functional, while his wife Jeni takes his wheel-
thrown vessels and turns them into exquisit illustrated and decorated
pieces worthy of the American Crafts Juried shows.
Their home and studio is a testament to living and working your dream.

Al's production is amazing, and he works alone.
