Wrought Iron & Tule Log Holder

Our log holder is a delight to the eye.  The strong and well-made

wrought iron frame, designed by Lorenzo, is taken to

Michocaun to be woven with the grass there, called "tule", directly onto the frame. 

The grass is woven wet, and when completely dry will become

that greenish-brown dry grass color so popular in furniture these days.

Many of you have asked if the tule really holds up.  Aside from the gauge and strength of the wrought iron, the tule is great.  I am putting 2 photos below of my tule holder, which has held 2 cords of firewood over the last 2 seasons.

The holder is 24" long,  15" wide and 15" tall.
