While walking through the factory looking for new animals I turned a corner and saw this wonderful whimsical boot planter. I had to have it for you. It is many shades of greens and browns, and looks for all the world like an old fishing boot. I hit this with the hose to really pop the colors, and if I were buying one I might consider a spray can of clear coat to keep the colors this visible. Koiny tells me that during November and December he has lots of orders for these boots painted red.
The boot is wood fired, and is made from the clay liga in the area.
The boot is 16" long, heel to toe. It is 9" wide and 11.5" deep.
The opening for planting is 6" x 9", and it has a drain hole.
Boot weighs 16 lbs. Ship weight is 21lb.
