In Mexico they call this a "Circle of Maria's". To me this is a circle of women gathering for friendship and quiet moments.  The piece is classic Mexican clay pottery fired over wood and sponge-painted.  The colors are accurate.

The piece is about 8" in diameter, and about 5" tall.  The center holds a standard votive candle.
