Mystic Toad Planter

Could this toad be more inscrutable? Like all toads who seem to hunker down near water, our fellow is probably waiting for a dragonfly. He is 10” long, 8” wide, and 8” tall. He is wood-fired clay.  This Mexican clay pottery toad planter has a hole in the bottom for drainage.
