Head nine

|
New from Guadalupe
Guadalupe is the aunt of Rafael, the folk artist
who makes our dogs.

Guadalupe working on one of the heads in her studio.
These heads are fired clay, one of a kind,
and describe the mythology
surrounding the lives of women
from the viewpoint of the artist.
They are magnificent. They are wood-fired
clay pottery, and are extraordinary examples
of the breadth and depth of creativity found
in the arts community in Mexico.
Below are ten heads I brought back.
